He is strong and quiet. The silent type that sits back and watches and sees everything, yet keeps the tenderness approach.
She is bubbly, smiles all the time, and totally in love with him! I met Sarah and John almost 2 years ago at a Nazareth Hall bridal show, but at that time they weren’t quiet ready with their date to book yet. They showed up again this last winter at the show, armed with a date and ready to book! I remember how sweet Sarah was and just talking with her for a few minutes and hoped I would see them again!
I love when couples try to find something unique to do with their Couples Fun session. Sarah and John both love horses and they found a place that gave lessons and agreed to let us shoot their for the session.
Here are a few of my faves from the day. My friend JASON ROB TIVEY will be posting some on his blog soon so be sure to check those out as well and leave your comments!
Love how their horses leaned into to “kiss” each other! They felt the love!
Sarah and John, thank you so much for coming back to see me at Nazareth Hall and for having faith in me to capture this awesome time in your lives! I am looking forward to your November wedding!!!
Love, JP

No CommentsOkay, seriously??! Who had THIS much fun on a Couples Fun Session?? WE do! We do!
Sitting across the desk from from this Q T pie couple for their initial consultation I couldn’t help but see how adorable they are with each other! I mean, I wanted to activate my special super hero powers, ya know, the one where I can just blink and take a picture with my eyes as I see things? But I couldn’t show my powers!
They kept putting a hand on each others’ leg, leaning their heads in towards each other til they touched, making cutesy faces to each other, like, the things that make most people want to stick a finger in their throats and pretend vomit. But NOT ME! I loved every minute of it! What can I say? I’m a sucker for couples sickeningly cute with each other!
Anthony says Kalah brings him out of his shell a bit. Although he’s not totally shy, I can tell she definitely completes him, and vice versa. One could just feel as well as see these two have for each other.
We decided to go all out and REALLY show their personalities and have some REAL fun! Scroll down all the way to see just what I am talking about!
First, we started out shaving to reschedule a couple of time due to rain. The first time we got out to the Bay and shot for about 10 minutes before the big storms rolled in.
So, the next time we were actually able to shoot a full session we went all out. Check out the fun we had!
Notice Kalah’s hands in the next shot.. when I asked them to run through the seagulls she let me know of her fear of birds (I am so afraid of them too!) but that she would “take one for the team” with Anthony by her side! What a trooper!
So then, we broke out the BIG GUNS.. kids washable paint! Yep! Guess what happens next??!
Now, that’s what I’m talking about! Thanks for the F.U.N!

5 CommentsHe first caught her eye at the Sandusky County Fair. She remembers what he was wearing… a red Ohio State T-shirt and jeans. He was helping with the kiddie tractor pulls as she just watched from the barn with her parents. Looking across the way, she told her mom to “look at that handsome boy”. Mom told her she would never see him again and Jordie told her mom she was sure she would date that boy.
Years later, they are now engaged and planning their future!
Jordie is a girl after my own heart! Cute, fun shoes is a MUST for any girls wardrobe! While we were in Chicago I, of course, went on a shoe hunt and my husband said for every pair of new shoes I bought I had to donate 3 pairs when we returned home. I bought 2 pair, then donated 9!
Jordie, your smile is captivating and contagious!
Jeff farms with his dad, can you tell? We just had to do something in the wheat field and with his tractor. The big ones, not the kiddie size ones!
When I asked Jeff what makes him smile his answer was “Jordie and my dogs”. This is Dusty, who is actually a full bred wolf that Jeff has raised. He was actually nicer and more friendly than the German Shepard!
I LOVE when I have ambitious, go getter clients! These two were willing to walk along the cliff edge to get out to the river for a shot! No one fell in, yay!!
Jeff proposed on Christmas day. What? not exciting or unique enough for you? Well, here’s the story, maybe it will help.
They were in the living room about to exchange gifts and Jordie had given Jeff his gift first. When Jeff handed her the gift from him she opened it to find ..literally, a lump of coal. “Wow, that’s awesome. ” Jordie said. Jeff says ‘You might want that” and when she picked it back up she heard something rattle inside. She had to chisel the coal open (Jeff had split the piece of coal in half , carved out the center then glued it back together, a little too well!) Jordie says she was so in shock because she was NOT expecting that! of course, they saved the coal…

26 CommentsI didn’t have a lot of time with Jessica and Joel, but we made the most of it in downtown Toledo and, when you get what you need, that’s all that matters! Let me know what you think by leaving your comments below!
do these guys got it or what??!
I think this next one is my FAVE of the day
No, wait.. maybe this one…
Yummy lighting just before a rain fall.
And just as we were finishing up at the old train car the rain comes in.. These two were troopers waiting for me to get this shot as it started coming down.
Can’t wait for the wedding next month!
