When Andrea’s mom Lorrie called me to photograph her daughter’s senior pictures I was all for it because she said she wanted something different, not like all the rest. Echo photographed Andrea’s cousin Taylor’s senior pis this past fall and they really liked those… enough to drive 3 hours from the other side of Dayton to come to us!
We had already scheduled once due to weather and even though it was quite a chilly day yesterday, Andrea, being the rock star kid that she is, (that annnnd graduation is just weeks away, no time for rescheduling!) we braved the cold and wind and made it work!
here are a few of my faves from the session! Special thanks to Jaylene for rockin out some edits asap!
So, while we’re at the old abandoned train car the RR guys parked nearby to watch. I thought for sure we were gonna get kicked out, but they said they see photogs there all the time, and that sometimes the clients are nude! No kidding??! DUH! Awesome location for boudoir session, but the guys said they ‘just stick around to ‘protect’ the people there” wink* wink*. Beware photogs, there are eyes everywhere! Those guys are getting a show! I told them nothing to see here, she’s under age and fully clothed! They just laughed. BTW, you left your Vanity Fair magazine inside the train car… you know who you are.

No CommentsMeet my new friend, Nathan. He is a student and current Vice President at Wenatchee Valley college. Nathan has been in acting for 14 years and his future plans are to go into … get this… film OR politics! Hmmm. Anything is possible, right Ronald and Arnold?? Nathan also plans to further his acting and modeling career. He’s got lots of experience under his belt as Key Club president, FFA, Drama Club president, TATU leader, as well as being and Evergreen boys state member and HOBY member. So,any scouts out there… check him out!

I LOVE this next one. They must have all thought I was crazy wanting to shoot at an old abandoned bus out in the middle of a field, but I had a vision! This was shot through a dirty, scratched window. Instant, natural texture with a little sepia/vintage lovin’!

Totally. Fierce.
I’m diggin’ it dude. Now THAT’S how you RAWK out a senior session!
No CommentsA couple of weeks ago my husband & I flew out to the Pacific NW to celebrate our 20 year anniversary and visit some friends in Plain, (Leavenworth) Washington. More on our celebrations later, but I wanted to share some sesssions I was able to shoot while we were there. I know it was supposed to be a vacation, but I had to take advantage of shooting in a different location and I also love to serve others. So, thanks Lynette for hooking me up with a few great clients!
Autum… a perfect name for this time of year, and it’s her fave, of course! Autum will graduate from Cascade High School and also takes classes at Wenatchee Valley college. She wants to study Education and Life Counseling, and enjoys dance, living life and her dog Hero!
She was such a joy to photograph, so easy in front of the camera, and you can tell the camera loves her right back!

Railroad tracks are easy to find anywhere, and the lines make an interesting statement!

Aren’t these the most gorgeous brown eyes you’ve ever seen??

This bridge sits just off center and behind our friends’ house and I love it! You’ll see it in more pictures when I post more from our trip!

The scenery is just so different. I loved finding little areas to put her in…

A little swinging action…

Autum, thank you so much for trusting me, sight unseen, to photograph this special time in your life!

No CommentsGosh, where do I begin about this girl?? Em is one totally got-it-all-together girl! Okay, she may not agree, but she sure has us all fooled then! If ever there was a girl who was just as beautiful on the inside as she is in outward appearance, it’s Emily. I have watched Emily grow into the fine young lady she is since she has attended our church for the past 12 years with us, Heritage Christian Church. Growing in the Lord and into a responsible, loving, caring young adult, Emily is always high spirited and always a joy to be around!

If you are diggin’ Em’s hair and makeup, she was pampered and primped by the girls at Amoura at 2526 Navarre Ave. Jen put her magic touch on Emily’s hair, and Miranda used her artistic ways on her makeup! I totally think you should check them out! 419.697.4252
Emily is currently taking classes at Clay H.S as well as UT and plans on continuing her education in either Fashion Merchandising or Education. Either way, I see her succeeding at whatever you chooses as she also follows God’s plans for her life!
Good luck Em!
