Are you on Facebook? If so, look me up! I have a personal page under Julie Paszczykowski (spell it right!, and there are two of us, crazy, huh?) and a page under JP Photography.

(my profile picture on FB changes all the time!)

This is the image of the JPP page.
I look forward to making you all my friends! See you on Facebook!
6 CommentsChris had been working at their school for a year before Kim accepted a position there. People had been telling him how sweet she was, so he went to try to talk to her while she was getting her room ready. He says she just blew him off and he thought she was a “butt kisser” (his words!) Her first impression of him was that he was “very quite and boring” (her words!).
After some time of working together and barely saying “Hi” to each other, he decided to give it a try again. He came to her room and said I hear you like to run. and told her he was a runner and asked if she’d be interested in running with him sometime.
They started running together and Kim says she even ran when it was too cold and she would have never done it by herself, but kept on going just to be around him. At first, they just talked about school stuff, then the conversations turned more personal. They started having dinner together, going to church together and spending time other than running with each other. After months of this, he knew she was the one!

We decided to shoot the couples fun session at the place where all those intimate conversations unfolded, a park in Waterville.

I love the shadows we find on sunny days!

and the BLING!

I think Chris panicked a bit when I placed the ring on this thistle. He said if it falls I’m not buying a new one!

Kim and Chris, I can’t wait for your wedding in August! Thanks for making me a part of it all!

WHAT are you doing? Brian asked as he sits across the kitchen table from me while he puts in tabs in his new bible. I’m color categorizing my shells from Wrightsville Beach. Oh my gosh you’re a freak!
Yes, I decided to sort out my treasures before carefully placing them in jars to decorate the master bath. I had decided when the kids got older and we were able to travel a bit more that I would gather and collect small findings on our OH-SO-HAPPY adventures as little reminders. I have shells from Coco Beach Florida when we went to shoot a wedding there two years ago, cotton on the branches that I picked while shooting a wedding in Georgia (Brian called me a “cotton pickin’ thief” ), pecans from my friends backyard tree in Tifton, Georgia, and now these shells from my visit to Wilmington to see Millie.
Okay, some may say I’m a little OCD, but, really, it’s all in the details, right? If I didn’t pay attention to the details I wouldn’t be good at what I do.
So, I’m color sorting my seashells. Of course I’ll have a mixed jar, too, but what I can’t do is mix shells from Coco Beach with those from Wrightsville. Now that’s absurd.
You’re a freak.

Last night was such a blast for me! I started the season shooting our first ever fREE tO bE mE session. A session for no particular reason except to celebrate a time in a person(s) life, whether it’s a “just because” reason, to show off a talent, to announce something… whatever. Since we launched the fREE tO bE mE sessions I have several booked and can’t wait to share them with you!
This first one is bitter sweet. You may remember Courtney and Alex from their wedding post last August. Be sure to go back through the blog to find it ![]()
This young, vibrant couple just found out they are expecting their first baby this November! yay! The not-so-happy news is that Alex leaves for Afghanistan for one year on Tuesday. ![]()
Courtney knew she wanted to send Alex off with some recent images of the two of them and to have some for herself to get her through these next difficult months. So, they wanted to take advantage of the Military special I offered recently and combine it with a fREE tO bE mE session~ just for fun!

I just love the way Alex makes her smile…

Even though Courtney is not “showing” yet, I wanted a tender shot of Al showing his love for their baby. I think I got it!

I was so happy with the sweet light we got last night!
