Just an FYI… I will be out of the office from today, Friday, until Monday morning. I get to have a girls weekend with my daughter and we’re going to visit a friend in Grand Rapids, Michigan. I am so excited!
I will most likely not be able to answer any emails or return phone messages until Monday and I appreciate your patience!
I have ALOT to blog and that will resume on Monday also, but for now, here is a little snippit of me and Brooke from her fREE tO bE mE session last week

Enjoy your weekend! Spend it with those you love!
1 CommentDan and Amanda had both recently acquired new jobs so when Dan said he wanted to take Amanda out for dinner to celebrate, she had no idea how special this dinner was going to be. They went to the Melting Pot for the first time, and Dan had arranged to have a private table for them. Just before dessert he got down on one knee and proposed! After a YES! Amanda said You asked my father??
Of course he had. She had asked him to run errands with her and he said he had other things he needed to do, and that day while she was gone, he went to her parents home and respectfully requested her hand in marriage.
The blessed event is scheduled for Sunday September 6th!

I love the warm, ooey, gooey, yummy light just before sunset!

While we were walking down the street I turned around to see Dan take Amanda’s hand and kiss it ever so gently and I was able to grab this little gem moment!

Another stolen moment…

Amanda and Dan, thanks for letting me peek into your lives! Can’t wait for your wedding this Fall!

When I first saw Amanda when we met for out shoot I couldn’t believe my eyes! First, at how much she looked like her mom, who I went to school with, and second, how much she had grown because I hadn’t seen her since she was a baby!
She has turned into such a beautiful girl and I am so honored Maria chose me to capture her daughter all grown up (at least teenagers think they’re all grown up, right??)
I wanted to add a twist on the typical “name and year” in the corner of senior pics…

I really love the warm, yummy sun contrasting against her “tough” look

Jenny & Jarod are getting married just a few weeks away and Echo is shooting their wedding as well as I have another that day. After having to reschedule a few times for weather, we decided to “just do it” and held a shoot a couple days ago.
What I love about this couple is that they are ALWAYS smiling! ALWAYS! They can’t look at each other without a cute little giggle, and BTW, I LOVE the way they look at each other!

My motto has always been ” It’s better to ask forgiveness than permission”, at least when it comes to questionable locations and parking in restricted areas! And, ESPECIALLY when there is a Mud Hens game going on downtown. It’ snot so easy to find parking! Here, we sneaked on the side of the road near OC and grabbed a few…

Having a little fun with a vintage camera

And now, for the BLING… I *heart* ring shots!

Thanks Jarod and Jenny! For two shy people, you sure did a fantastic job!

Echo is photographing Tiffany and Justin’s wedding in August and I tagged along with her to Side Cut park to capture this fun-loving-couple for some fun-loving shots! The wind was crazy that day and we thought we may have to reschedule, but I am so glad we just went ahead…
This is how windy it was…

We did manage to grab some in between the wrath of Mother Nature..

The bling…

As Echo and I were concentrating on WORKING, Jaylene was supposed to be assisting, but ended up PLAYING (LOL Jay!) and came across this tiny turtle that the rest of us almost stepped on! How cute is this?!

You should look Jaylene up on Facebook and check out her profile picture!
Tiffany and Justin, we are looking forward to your wedding in a few months! Thanks for hanging out with us last Saturday!
