Nazareth Hall 2010 Bridal Show

February 8, 2010 Personal

If you are a bride or know someone who is, please take time on Sunday February 21 to come and visit the Bridal Show at Nazareth Hall. JPP will of course have our work displayed there in the Cadet West ballroom and throughout the hall, as well as other wedding professionals from the greater Toledo area. This is truly your one-stop-shop for all your wedding needs. Florists, photographers, DJs, videographers, bridal attire, honeymoon ideas, cakes, caterers, etc will all be promoting their work and various expertise.

We have some tips for you to keep in mind if this is your first bridal show (or even if it’s your fifth!)

1) Wear comfortable shoes. You’ll be on your feet for a few hours checking everything out.

2) Bring a pen or marker with you. You’ll be meeting and talking to so many different wedding pros it sometimes can be hard to keep track of who and what you liked. Bring something to mark the literature of those you want to further look into.

3) Bring your calendar/planner. We know its so hard to make a decision on the spot and we (at least at JPP) would like to sit down with you in a less busy atmosphere and get a good feel for what you are looking for. So, be prepared to set appointments with those vendors you like.

4)  If you already have your mind set and are ready to book, come with checkbook in hand! Everyone requires some kind of deposit or retainer to hold the date of your event.

5) Leave your coat in the car of possible, or hang it on the rack provided. You’ll have tons of information given to you and your coat will be one less thing to carry around. (unless your handsome, strong hubby to be is with you to be your pack mule ,as my husband calls himself!)

6) Bring your sister, maid of honor, mother, his mother, whoever!

7) Consider bringing a sheet of pre made labels your names, wedding date, phone and email address on them. Alot of wedding professionals have drawing and give a ways and this will save you time of writing all this info over and over again.

8) Lastly, have fun! Enjoy the whole experience. Come with an open mind and be prepared to say your wedding date about 50 times because EVERYONE will ask you that!

PS Nazareth Hall also offers a fabulous brunch on Sundays to the public from 11-2pm. The brunch is $10 per person and is a tasty treat for a change in lunch after church! Come check it out! This tradition starts the first Sunday in November and lasts through Mother’s day every year. See you soon!

Love, JPP
