Joyce & Jim {engaged}

1

When I first met Joyce and Jim I KNEW I wanted to photograph their wedding, but then they left the consultation without booking and I wondered “what went wrong? I thought we were soul mates”! haha Then I got the call (and several texts and emails) that they wanted to secure having me as their photographer. Yippeee!

Joyce said “Your work is beautiful and we just knew you’d get the job done with your personality. And we just connected. You truly love your work and the people in it. We can tell! Jim and I said you’re the type of person we would go out for a drink with.”

And we did. We met for drinks a couple weeks after they signed their contract and I fell in love with them even more. (this is sounding kinda weird, huh?) Just kidding! but seriously, I love having those connections with my ‘clients’ . Building a strong relationship makes for the best photos!

These two just seem to have that chemistry… and, they met online…. E harmony.com! I think they should be in one of their commercials!  I could see immediately their connection and knew I wanted to be a part of it.

Joyce and Jim are incredible people and had ME smiling during their {LOVE} session!

I can’t even tell you how excited I am to capture their day next month as they say their “I do’s” at the beautiful Inverness Club in Toledo.

Until then, here is a sneak peek of the {LOVE} session.

Jim said he had to have the traditional Art Museum pose with ‘the bride in the front and the groom blurred in the back ground’ (that would be called ‘shallow depth of field’)

:)
 I think we got it, don’t you?
