Trying to catch up on all my blogging from 2012 weddings before the 2013 weddings begin! I was going through weddings and Kristen and Justin’s were married in April 2012 down in the Caribbean, USVI. What a joy it was to work with the amazing Lorie of Bolongo Bay Beach Resort In St Thomas.
Kristen had a lot of her details mailed down to the island, such as their bouquets she ordered on Etsy. They were so unique and a make for a wonderful keepsake.
The first look
One thing I love about destination weddings is that we get to shoot the Day After. Our UNVEILED sessions are big with destination weddings and SO MUCH FUN!

When Evan and Jennifer hired me to photograph their wedding 4 years ago I was ecstatic! I had photographed friends in their bridal party and it felt like more of a party than working a job. The wedding was at a beautiful church in Ann Arbor and location photos around town made for a fun day all around.
Fast forward four years later an dI get a call from Jennifer about the news of their baby girl Ava. Ava was born 13 weeks early at a whopping teeny tiny 1.5 pounds. Last week was her actual due date, yet she is almost 3 months old!
She was born in September and was finally able to come home just before Thanksgiving. What a wonderful holiday gift!
