She had a beautiful #homebirth and brought her third little boy into the world! I am so blessed that I have been able to witness and photograph all three of her amazing births!

Although I am loving all the spring colors popping up, there is just something about black and white imagery that will always have my heart.
Maybe it takes me back to the time of my grandparents’ images that I love to look through. The 30s, 40s, 50s when B&W photography was mainstream. I absolutely drool over the images left by my grandfather (who was a lover go photography as well).
So, even though I have gorgeous images in color of this session that I’ll share later, I really want to focus on the simplicity of these images and the emotions the colorless faces evoke.
