I have photographed births over 18 years and this side of photography is definitely my fave!
My passion for birth documentary/photography stems from my own births that were documented and taught me so much about what I was capable of.
Why birth photography?
I believe this milestone is just as important as a wedding, and having it documented is a fast growing desire. So many things happen during a birth, and capturing that is worth every penny I’ve been told.
It’s easier for moms to want this footage, but I’ve had many fathers tell me things like
“Wow, I wish I had known all that was going to happen. I’m so glad you were there.’
“I’m so happy you captured all this because it was a whirlwind for us”.
“I’m glad I had someone else there to help me understand and support us”.
Don’t leave these precious, very personal moments in the care of just anyone. Hire an experienced , compassionate certified professional birth photographer. Accepted and referred by area doctors and midwives, as well as other birth workers such as doulas and L&D nurses!

Family Sessions
I offer full hour family sessions, or mini sessions. A few times a year I will offer ‘petite’ sessions.
here’s what each have to offer:
Full sessions: $525
Up to an hour coverage at an agreed upon location in the Toledo area. I have some favorite spots, but I’m open to suggestions if you do, too! Styling is included! I want to help you look and feel your best for these photos that will cover the walls in your home! My style of shooting and editing is typically light and airy, so neutral colors usual photograph best for me. That doesn’t mean we can’t incorporate some of your favorite Fall colors, let’s just find muted tones to keep that organic feel!
Includes up to 100 images online for viewing, ordering and download with print permission
Mini sessions: $350
a stylized session on location lasting approx 20-30 minutes (let’s face it, dads and kids don’t last much longer!)
Includes 25 images online for viewing, ordering , and download with print permission
STUDIO SESSIONS $250
quick sessions in my downtown studio. 10 digital files online for viewing, ordering and download with print permission. upgrade options available.
